Knowledge and Life

In the beginning, in the garden of Eden, were trees which came out of the ground. And there was, also, in the midst of the garden, the Tree of Life.

And there was another tree, not stated to be in the garden. The tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

What does it mean to reach out to the tree of this, particular, knowledge ? What does it mean to "eat" of the Tree of Life ?

What is this knowledge ?
And what is Life ?

Outside of Christ there is only a curse.
And a darkness which appears to be light.

But he that hath the Son, hath Life.

Appendix I covers a number of places in scripture which speak of righteousness in relation to Jesus Christ but none of which can be employed to justify the use of the expression 'righteousness of Christ' - an expression which is never found, anywhere in the bible. Click here to read or download.
